The National Road Research Alliance (NRRA) is hosting “Understanding and Improving Pavement Milling Operations” on January 18 at 10 a.m. CST, presented by Eshan Dave, University of New Hampshire.
The NRRA’s monthly seminar highlights research topics that will make an impact on the work done here in the state of Minnesota and around the country.
Project Objectives
The objectives of the proposed innovative research are to:
- Quantitatively determine changes to physical and mechanical properties of asphalt pavement from milling operations;
- Identify factors that have the most significant impacts on milling induced changes to the existing pavement; and,
- Develop best practices guidance for use in milling, design and construction specifications.
